Openshot RPM for Fedora 12

Thanks to our forum user thalaric, there is an RPM available for installing Openshot on Fedora 12. The RPM installs the latest version (0.9.54).

Please check the forum post for details of the RPM.

Can you help package Openshot for other Linux distributions? If so, post details in our forum or join the Openshot Developers team on Launchpad.

Openshot included in AV Linux 3.0

Openshot has been included as one of the default applications in the brand new release of AV Linux 3.0. AV Linux is a Debian based Linux distribution focussing on multimedia creation.

Openshot featured in Linux Journal

Respected Linux author Dave Phillips has recently written about Openshot in his Linux Journal column. Dave's area of speciality is nomally Linux Audio, but he is currently researching the various Linux Video tools. Dave has written about LiVES and Kdenlive in recent weeks, this week it's the turn of Openshot.
