how to export lossless audio or close to it

So I've downloaded openshot for the first time. And for what I am doing, comparing albums original versions to their remastered counterparts, openshot is nearly perfect for me EXCEPT for one thing. I am working with CD quality audio which is around 1536 kbps. The best rendering rate for audio I can get out of openshot is 639 kbps. This is still much better than an mp3, but I am looking just for no loss, or virtually no loss if possible.

Is there anyway to export as a wav file or get it to the point where it is pretty close to 1536 kbps?

I guess you would need to modify the sourcecode.
