Letterbox for videos' sides [SOLVED]

Is it possible to apply the letterbox effect to left and right instead of top and bottom?

I created a new effect (mask) that does exactly what I need and I think is urgently missing in the current version of openshot. I attached the file if someone else wants it. Is there an official place where I should submit the new effect?

To install the effect unzip mask.zip, move mask.xml to /usr/lib/pymodules/python2.7/openshot/effects/ , move mask.png to /usr/lib/pymodules/python2.7/openshot/effects/icons/medium/ and create a 80x62 mask.png in /usr/lib/pymodules/python2.7/openshot/effects/icons/small/ .

Thanks for the file, but we have already added this effect in the latest development round, so is in the latest trunk:

Oh - I only use the stable release. Anyway I learned how to add new effects
