Problem with me or openshot? zoom effect shaking

Postby wing » Mon Feb 08, 2010 5:13 pm

This video consists of 2 still images, first zooming in from 100% to 150%, second zooming out from 150% to 100% and a simple dissolve transition.

But output is shaking badly - why?

PS. OpenShot looks really promising! Been waiting for smth like this for a while. Default theme is a bit unproffessional though :)

Good question. Could you give us more precisions, please ? About you system, version of MLT, FFmpeg, graphic card, version of Openshot, ...
Have you this "shaking" on another vidéo, is it the same in the preview, what is the way for export the file, simple, advanced, what are the presets using, the profil use too ? .........

Thanks. You have for the moment 4 themes at your disposition.
And you can created your own theme here http://openshotusers.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=15and if it 's good it will be include in a next version.

OpenShot (version 1.0.0)

It is the same in the preview, so it doesnt matter much i guess, what the output parameters are? I just found out about OpenShot yesterday so I havent really tested much - and I do not have any video material at the moment to test with, so I cannot tell you if it happens with video clips as well or just pictures..

let me know if You need any more information.

I'm experiencing the same kind of problem, I suspect it's a MLT bug, but I'm not sure

Effectively, i'm thinking like hv_francesco. And after the bug report that's sure.
Could you tried a MLT compilation for trying resolve this bug (but i'm not sure that the version 0.4.10 resolve it)
Sorry. :?
If you do a compilation of MLT says us if it's resolve or not. Thanks

I know this is old, but I'm still having this issue.

I don't know what version I am running off hand without a reboot. I have been running OpenShot off of a live AVLinux DVD that I downloaded in late 2014. I'll try to get some version numbers and update this post.

All things seem to work great except for the shaking issue on zooming photos. As can be seen here - http://youtu.be/onLjjF5q9LA?t=21m55s

I have also encountered some other bugs that have been previously reported, but they were only temporary;
Crash when opening a project - I don't remember what caused it. Maybe a bad video import. All projects would crash after the first crash. Has not happened since a reboot.
Bad fade in/out. Key frame showing up at the start/end of fade casing a flash of a picture in the final product. Added another track and inserted clip ahead in the timeline and has disappeared.

As I had the shakiness on zoom before and don't notice it any more I guess it's a version issue.
