Partial blackbox in preview where audio is overlapping

Postby Alio » Wed Jan 04, 2017 11:30 pm

I get a good preview until I overlay audio either on the same track or different track. When it gets to any audio mix location, the preview goes black except for a strip at the top and one at the bottom where I can see the video shot.

Got it figured out. A real duuuhhhh if you know the program. Click the file loaded into the audio track, properties tab left of the tracks has the video level adjustment. Turned it down to "Off" and disappeared the black box. :)

I thought it was that simple and hunted around for an instruction. But not even with this I can figure out how to "turn video off" from a sound track. I can, on the other hand, not figure out why such "feature" is on by default either.

By "Click the file loaded into the audio track" do you mean right-click?
I see no "properties tab", can you catch a screen dump maybe?
