Hi! We are currently working on a new cross platform video editing library, which will power a future version of OpenShot. This will enable a Windows and Mac version of OpenShot, but it's still a ways off from being completed. Thanks.

cool, hope to see it soon. I just want to bump this thread and say that I'd like OpenShot for other OSes, specifically Windows, as well :)

But, with OpenShot available for Windows, yet another Linux killer-app would bite the dust. For now, you can always just install a distro in Virtualbox and try the program out that way. Don't worry if it sounds complicated to you, trying it never hurts! :)
