How to integrate a video from vimeo or youtube in a post ?

I've tried [vimeo]21231386[/vimeo], but it doesn't work...
Someone tried different way of doing it, but he didn't succeed...

Some help would be appreciate !

Like I have explained in the French thread about this , the problem comes from the version of Python (aka 2.7.) and the modifications done in it are, for the moment, incompatible with the API Vimeo. And when Python will be come compatible, automatically, the export Vimeo will rework. I have not precise that this problem seems appear on Natty but it depends of our system that you are using.

In fact, my question is NOT about EXPORTING to vimeo but about the way to INTEGRATE a video in a POST of this forum !
I think, it's funny for the english speakers to read the posts of two frenches trying to communicate in english !!!
Anyway, thank you for answer, it'd probably help someone and avoid me to waste time trying this nice export feature...

I've understood something about this issue.

[vimeo]http://vimeo.com/24382629[/vimeo] dosen't work, but if you add 'www.' between 'http://' and 'vimeo.com', it works !
