I've played with openshot a little bit. The thing that i miss more is the possibility to change effects and audio levels (both left and right) over time in a graphical way. The classical line with key frame that you drag up and down. I think that it would be a great improvement in the future.

The lack of general keyframing is one of the major weaknesses of all the FOSS video editors on Linux. If we can fix this one major limitation in openshot, I think I would be able to use it as a proper video editor for nearly all my editing needs.
